Discounts! Discounts! Discounts!

Who doesn't LOVE discounts?? I know I absolutely love a good deal, especially on more expensive products that I've had my eye on for awhile.
Many people (including myself) scour the Internet for online coupon codes and look for coupon books at stores. My first favorite website for scoring discounts on goodies is retailmenot.com. This little site is so easy to use - all you have to do is type in the store you want, and a list of coupon codes and printable coupons pops up - and when they expire. You can automatically go to the website of the store you want from the coupon code page. Or if you are an old school couponer, you can print it out.
Other than sites like these, there are sites that offer more popular and expensive brands in a "flash sale" type of deal. My absolute favorite is Hautelook.com. It's actually a Nordstrom company, which I think says alot about their reputation. Hautelook offers new events everyday at 8am pacific time with clothing, shoes, home decor, technology, and more up to 75% off. Events (flash sales) all end at different days/times, but they are sure to let you know. Membership is FREE, and you can sign up for the email alerts that send you new events so you'll always be aware what is on Hautelook so you'll never miss that sale. They have many popular brand names such as Jessica Simpson, Rebecca Minkoff, Madden Girl, Elf Cosmetics, Tarte cosmetics and more!
I've bought from Hautelook many times, and I am NEVER disappointed! I bought a makeup brush set by Elf through Hautelook for $13, when they normally retail at $30. I bought a pair of Sperry Top-siders for $45 when they normally run $100+. More recently, I bought my first Rebecca Minkoff MAC clutch for $120 when they are $250+. I also am currently awaiting the arrival of my Whitening Lightning teeth whitening kit that I have heard SO many good things about! I had been wanting it for so long, but it regularly costs almost $500. I paid $60 for mine - and bought one for ma for Mothers Day. You can't beat that amazing discount! I always get my shipments on time and have never had any problems!

Another site kinda similar to Hautelook that I think more people have heard of is Groupon. Not only does Groupon offer great discounts on vacation getaways, romantic weekend getaways, and your favorite restaurant, they also offer discounts on products such as spa trips, hair products, fashion, technology, and more! Just like Hautelook, membership is free. All you gotta do is sign up like any other website, and you are emailed various discounts. Some discounts are basically a coupon code type number that you are emailed after purchase. For example, I bought a $15 Groupon for $115 off Nume hair tools. I received the promo code in my email inbox, then went to the Nume website, where I then purchased my Titan 3 curling wands for a huge discount! Other discounts are immediate. For example, I just ordered a phone charger docking station for $15 and all I had to do was approve the transaction - given that your information and credit card # are already on file. I haven't bought any of the vacations yet, but you can be sure I will in the future!
      *sample email alert from Groupon*
I urge you to try these websites out if you are an extreme shopaholic like me or even if you just want to save some money on a really great product. Have you tried these already? Or do you have other websites that you love? Let me know!

April 2013 Faves

So I'm a little late with my April Favorites but I'm just getting back into blogging again regularly so forgive me! No need for more rambling...here they are:

I am obsessed with knuckle-rings - or midi-rings - whatever you want to call them. I think they are so adorable and something different from the typical everyday rings. I found mine at Walmart (actually, I cheated. They are toe rings! But they make perfect knuckle-rings and are super cheap for a set of 5!)

Next favorite is my new Nume Titan 3. I got a Groupon coupon for $110 off the retail price , so I ended up getting this sweet baby for about $90. It comes with 3 sizes of barrels so you can get various curl sizes. I read reviews and YouTube videos of people who raved about this, and I'm happy to report, it lives up to its claims! It is super easy to curl your hair (I use the heat protectant glove that comes with it because I'm accident-prone) - I honestly believe it's way easier than a regular curling iron. It took me LESS THAN 30 minutes to curl my entire head and I have long, thick hair. Usually half way through curling my hair with a curling iron, my arms are tired, I'm hot, and I'm just SO over curling my hair. That's definitely not the case with this one. I am IN LOVE with the NUME! Nume discount codes are floating all over the internet, so GO get you one!

For my face this month, I have been using various products, but these 3 really stand out to me. First is the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in Fresh Beige. I love this because it evens out my skin tones, hides my redness, and it really is nearly naked - it isn't cakey or thick at all, but it does a good job at being a foundation.
I am pretty self-conscious about my undereye area, so I always use a concealer. I have found a couple that are pretty good, but I had heard many great things about Hard Candy's Glamoflauge concealer. OMG, it is seriously heavy duty like the packaging says. You have to be really careful about blending it out and a tiny bit goes a LONG way. But it definitely makes me look like I've gotten 12 hours of restful sleep, which I never do! And it's $6 at Walmart, which you can't beat!
After these products, I like to set them with a powder. I have many brands of powders, which I rotate out with this one, but I have really been enjoying this one. It is very light, soaks up all the oil on my face, and makes my face look pretty matte for hours on end. Most of the face powders I have do not work this great, as I will have oil break-thru a couple hours later. Some people will not like the scent, but it reminds me of classic makeup-department-store-lady LOL. The scent does not stick though, so after applying, you don't smell anything at all. This container contains a HUGE amount of product for $5 at Walmart and they come in different shades and even a translucent version.

My favorite part is definitely the EYES! I have been loving Maybelline's new The Rocket mascara. My HG mascara is actually Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes, and the results I get with The Rocket are very close to that. I am going to continue to see if I love it so maybe this $6 mascara will replace my $19 one!
For the lids, I have been obsessed with copper colors. I found these two at Sally's (they are Sally brand) for super cheap and they are outstanding! The top is a regular eyeshadow that is a light coppery shade that I like to put in the crease over some gold shadow. The bottom is a baked eyeshadow that is super intense for a copper smokey-eye for nights out.
The last eye product is Hard Candy's Baked Eyeshadow Duo in Peace. The light half is a perfect shimmery champagne highlight color that I like to wear under the brow and in the inner corners of the eyes. You can even use it as a highlight for your cheeks! The brown half is a gorgeous shimmery brown that is super pigmented! I like to put this in the crease for drama.

For lips, I have been obsessed with lip stains. I have 3 from Loreal and 1 from Maybelline (I need to go buy more!). I love these because the color has great pigment, is glossy, and lasts for hours. I wouldn't say 10hours, but long enough! Great alternatives to lipstick and lip gloss!

Victoria's Secret Pink Fresh & Clean body mist has been a favorite for years! This scent is fruity and amazing, but it isn't your typical fruity-smell. I can't describe smells to save my life, so if you are in a VS store, I suggest go test it out! This scent is the epitome of summer! Comes in a lotion and body wash too!

What are your April Faves???

TAG: How Much Does Your Face Cost?

Here is a wonderful tag that one of my fav YouTube beauty channels came up with. The lovely girls (Stephanie & Laura) over at abrunetteduet on YouTube and abrunetteduet.com are definitely worth checking out if you are a beauty lover - they give awesome reviews on products, great makeup tutorials, and they are just down to earth and sweet...funny, too!!! While you are over there, check out their newest video, How Much Does Your Face Cost? This video inspired me to come up with my own reply to this question, and here it is:

This is my typical everyday face, I don't even want to know the price for a "night out" face!

Cyber Bullying

"Treat others the way you want to be treated."

This quote is pretty classic - isn't it what everyone's mom used to tell them? Also, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." Lol. Well, the reason for this unlikely un-beauty post is because I just watched this movie called CyberBully on Netflix. I believe it was an ABC Family original movie. It starred Emily Osment and Kay Panabaker. I won't go into details, because you seriously HAVE to see it for yourself!
Basically a high school girl starts getting harassed on a Facebook-like site by her classmates which leads her to a failed suicide attempt and eventually getting the attention of state senators about cyberbullying. I literally sobbed through half the movie because, while I didn't get harassed like this in school, I did try to commit suicide sometime after high school. It hit close to home about feeling lost and hopeless and hated.
I also was harassed online a couple years ago by a former best friend. She really hurt me and I stopped being friends with her which lead her to send me cruel emails - hitting me where it hurt most. I was angry, sad, and embarrassed.
It sounds silly to be embarrassed but this girl knew my deepest secrets, exactly where to hurt me the hardest, and make me feel rotten about myself. I immediately deleted the emails because I couldn't stand to look at her name in my Inbox and recall all the harsh words. I changed my email address, deleted all my social media accounts, and basically tried to cut myself off from the rest of the world so she couldn't find me again.
Still to this day, I'm afraid that she will happen to find my new email or site and start harassing me again. But after watching that movie tonight, I am prepared with knowledge if she should attack me again.
Cyber bullying IS against the law. Punishment and laws vary by state, and some states have yet to implement laws against cyber bullies. To find out what the specific laws and punishments are for your state, just google: Cyber bullying laws in Texas, for example. You'll find all the information you need.
And if you are ever bullied, save and print ALL evidence - emails, instant messages, texting, etc. Make sure you are knowledgable of the laws as well to determine what steps to take next. And also, TELL SOMEONE. Parents, teachers you trust, someone of high demeanor that can maybe help you.
Sadly, most laws are geared toward minors in school and on school grounds. But this type of bullying isn't just being committed by kids. My ex-best friend bully was 26 and me, 25, at the time. It's even more sad that some adults act this way! But like I said, research your state's laws.
My state is Texas, and there are laws against cyber bullying for minors in school but there is a penal code that states that the harassment law can be used to criminally penalize cyber bullies, so I take that as it being for all ages.
Leave a comment on your opinions on this matter, whether you've seen the movie, or if you want to share your personal story. Thanks for reading, and I'll be back soon with a lighter happier entry :)

Favorites of 2012

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season and had a great start to the new year! I decided that I needed to keep up with this blog more, so that's one of my resolutions for the year. A lot of my favorite beauty bloggers and vloggers are revealing their favorites from 2012, and I thought it would be a fun way to kick off 2013 and end 2012.

My favorite eye products of the year were Wet N Wild Creme Eyeliner in Black, Milani Liquif'Eye eyeliner pencil, and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. This creme eyeliner was the first I had ever tried - I was a bit skeptical, but I loved it even more than a liquid eyeliner. It went on so easily on the top lash line, the color was extremely black, and it lasted for hours! I bought this online at drugstore.com, but I'm sure most Wal-Marts and other drugstores have them. The Milani Liquif'Eye was my water line's best friend this year. I spent so many years using a cheap black eye pencil and suffering through the pulls, tugs, and splinters! I had heard of this liner on many beauty vloggers YouTube videos, and I had to jump on the bandwagon. I was an instant fan of this extremely black liner that is easy to apply (almost easy as liquid!), and actually stays on my water line for hours. While I love this pencil, I didn't love the price ($8, Walgreens), and I may try cheaper variations this month, but if none of them stack up to this, it's worth the price!
My last, but certainly not least, favorite eye product the year was Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes. I had received a sample size (the small tube in the picture) with an eyelash curler set, and was excited to try it. The only mascaras I had ever used were Maybelline's Volume Express line, which I thought were pretty decent. I found that Tarte's mascara is a little dryer than other brands, but that happened to be a good thing! This mascara makes my lashes really POP, and I am constantly getting compliments on how long my lashes look - it makes your lashes look like faux lashes - in a good way!!!! Unfortunately, the full size of this mascara is $19. I had to go for it anyway because it is definitely my ulltimate favorite - and I'm still using the sample right now!

Last year I tried a TON of lip products! It seemed like every time I went to Wal-Mart I ended up buying a new lip product. My favorites from the year were: Maybelline Baby Lips, Revlon Lip Butters in Fig Jam and Sugar Plum, and the combo of Rimmel's Stay Glossy gloss in 120 Non-Stop Glamour and Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss in 14.
I have done a review of the Baby Lips before - they are extremely nourishing while adding just a tint of color - perfect for everyday. The Revlon Lip Butters are currently an obsession! I had been searching high and low for a great-looking plum lipstick and Sugar Plum is the one. I had my doubts about the brownish color called Fig Jam, but it ended up being very sexy and pretty for fall. I love that you do not need to wear a chapstick underneath nor a lip gloss on top - these Lip Butters are all that in one! I'm dying to try more this year.
I started to obsess over the nude lip last year. I loved the look with an intense smoky eye. I found the perfect combo in Rimmel's 120 Non-Stop Glamour over Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss in 14. the lipstick is a beautiful nude color, but a bit dry on it's own. My lips are always dry anyway, so it didn't look so hot. I added the shimmery nude lip gloss over it and perfection!
The makeup products that I have been loving for the face include Tarte's Clean Slate Poreless Perfecting Primer, Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser, and Elf's Eyelid Primer. I had tried other primers, but I didn't really like any of them except for Tarte's Poreless version - I wasn't even a fan of Tarte's Brightening version! This primer practically evaporates into the skin and feels like nothing is there - but it completely masks my pores and other little skin flaws with my foundation on top. It's not greasy and it doesn't leave your skin shiny or with a residue.
Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind is probably my favorite concealer that I used this year. It's easy to apply, covers great, and I like the packaging. While I do love this one, I may try other concealers by Revlon and Maybelline to compare.
Elf's Eyelid Primer is definitely my #1 eyelid primer. I also tried Urban Decay's Primer Potion, which was good, but I thought that Elf's version was just like it! My eye makeup lasts all day without smudging all over the place. I'd rather pay the $1 than the $20. Yes, I know UD's Primer Potion is legendary, but I'm on a budget! Besides, like I said, there's hardly a difference between them.

I used a ton of different shadows last year, my ultimate favorite being Wet N Wild's Comfort Zone. This palette was a big hit among YouTube beauty vloggers, and rightfully so. Every color is beautifully pigmented and blends well. I was so in love with this that I bought an extra one for back up!
Another palette I used alot (mainly during the summer) was Elf's Essential Flawless Eyeshadow palette. It comes in a variety of tones, but I got the Golden Goddess one. It created the perfect summer eye look for $2! I forgot to take a picture of it, but I have done a post on it before, or you can look it up on eyeslipsface.com.

So I discovered bronzer in 2012. Shoutout to one of my fav YouTube gurus Nicole Guerrero for getting me hooked on Benefit's Hoola Bronzer. I tried a couple other bronzers but none of them really gave me the contour I was looking for. I first got Hoola in a Benefit kit of deluxe samples, and when I found out how much I loved it, I wanted the full size immediately! Sadly, it's out of my budget, but I ended up buying a different Benefit kit and got another deluxe sample of Hoola. I'm still on the first sample, so I believe these will last me for awhile - there's quite a bit of product in these samples, and it doesn't take much as it's highly pigmented!
My favorite blush was Elf's Twinkle Pink. At first I hated this one. It's a light pink-coral color with lots of shimmer. When I dipped my brush into it, there was shimmer flying out all over the place. But I have grown to love this because the color is so pretty on the apples of the cheeks, and the shimmer actually comes off as a great highlight! I've been trying out highlighting products lately, and this blush makes it easy to get color/shimmer in one step.

I just have to say that I die for Elf brushes. That is all. Just kidding. These are my top 5 favorite brushes, although I have alot more favorites. I discovered I love to use dark eyeshadows on my lower lash line smudged out a bit, and the angled liner brush from EcoTools is perfect for doing that.
While I discovered bronzer in 2012, I also discovered the perfect brush for applying it! It's an angled blush brush from EcoTools. I love the angle for applying bronzer because it fits right in the hollows of the cheeks, and it's fluffy enough that I can also buff out extra pigmentation if I apply too much.
Elf brushes in general are amazing, and at $3 each for the studio line, I urge you to try them. They are so soft and professional-feeling, with no shedding. My favs are the tapered blush brush for applying blush, the stipple brush for applying foundation, and the powder brush for powder.
My most-used colors of the year had to be from the Wet N Wild Megalast line. I loved I Need a Refresh-Mint during the warmer months and Haze of Love during Fall. The thick brushes make it so easy to apply the perfect coats, they are fast-drying, and long-lasting!

So with all this makeup, a girl needs some good face products. I have literally been using Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser ALL year. I have had maybe 2 breakouts since I started using it, which is a huge improvement for me. My skin has stayed mostly clear, and I think I owe it to the fact that this is a milk cleanser, and not anything harsher like a scrub or something that suds up. In combination with the cleanser, when I breakout with a pimple, I immediately treat it with the Yes to Tomatos Acne Spot Stick. This has Salicylic Acid, among other natural ingredients, which works best for my acne. You have to be careful as some people can be allergic to Salicylic Acid. I dab the rollerball stick on my pimple, and it seems overnight it has gone down significantly. These products are a little bit expensive (I believe the cleanser was $9-$11 and the roller ball was $8), but when it comes to the health and look of my skin, it's definitely worth it.
Sometimes I get very dry skin, especially after a shower, so I like to moisturize with a timely favorite from Olay. It is light and non-greasy, it doesn't make me break out, and it has SPF in it, which is very important these days. My grandmother swore by this brand, and it's probably one of the best drugstore products that I trust.

This favorite is a little funny. Through another YouTube guru, Leighann (leighannsays), I discovered this detangling spray from Suave KIDS. Haha, yes, from the Kids line. But it smells amazing (like green apple) and it works so good on my long, thick hair that is usually very tangly after a shower. I think it was like $2, and I dare you to try it!!!!!
My favorite scent from Bath & Body Works has been Winter Candy Apple since my freshman year of high school (I'm 26 now). It is a scent that only comes around during the holidays, and it is AWESOME. Sometime toward the end of October, I believe, I found that the scent was already back, and the store was having a Buy 3, Get 2 Free or something outrageous like that. I ended up stocking up on the lotion, spray, and shower gel, which have improved over the years. I love how the shower gel scent sticks to you long after your shower.
Other scents that I was loving earlier in the year (during warmer months) were Fancy by Jessica Simpson and Too Too Pretty by Betsey Johnson. I had a couple samples which I wanted to use up before getting the full size.

Sorry for being a terribly long post, but I had lots of favorites for 2012. I don't like to do monthly favorites like most bloggers and vloggers do because honestly, a lot of these products that I posted today will probably be my favorites for awhile. I'd rather try new products and review them as we go along. What were your favorite things this year??? Leave a comment and definitely subscribe!!!

Wet 'N Wild Palettes!

I absolutely LOVE Wet 'N Wild! It is such an overlooked makeup line that really has great quality. Everything from their blushes, mascara, and eyeshadows - I am addicted!

I started out with the Petal Pusher palette, which is amazing, then I heard so many reviews about the Comfort Zone palette. Of course, I had to jump on that bandwagon pronto, and I'm glad I did! I am in love with this palette. All of the colors are so pigmented, and I don't have anything like them in my collection. A couple of months ago, I had a real fear that they might discontinue the palette just because anything I LOVE gets discontinued! So I ran out and bought a backup of it LOL.

Moving on...a couple weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to try out the other palettes since I had such good luck with these two.

From left to right: Knock On Wood, Blue Had Me At Hello, and I'm Getting Sunburned

While the colors in this Blue Had Me At Hello palette are so striking, they aren't AS pigmented as they look to be. I still am pretty happy with it though, because I find the lighter colors to be more pigmented and creamy than similar colors in an Urban Decay palette I have. My favorite is the silvery-blue eyelid color which is the 5th one from the left on the swatch pic and the 2nd one from the top on the left side on the palette pic. It's super velvet-y soft and you barely have to touch it to get highly pigmented color. I haven't done many looks with blues like these, but I'm definitely going to play around with these.

These 3-color palettes are adorable! They look sort of similar, but they can create different looks. I have a Fall makeup look that I create with the cranberry color on the lid, the lighter brown in the crease, and the gold color in the inner corner. These palettes are so versatile and I think I'm going to have a great time creating more Fall looks!

Not a great picture detailing my Fall makeup look that I mentioned before, but hopefully you can see what I did. I love the cranberry color for Fall!

Anyway, I tried to start a YouTube channel this weekend, but I just wasn't happy with the quality of the result, so I'm going to stick with blogging and pictures! Leave a comment, and Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!

New Goodies a la Sephora + WalMart !

Sorry! I know I have been gone for a quick minute, but I really need to get back in the swing of blogging. It's something I really love, to just bring girls reviews of all kinds of products. I am addicted to Youtube makeup reviews and tutorials, so I want to do my part for you guys. I am even thinking of maybe creating a Youtube channel like some of my favorite gurus. That's still undecided though.

Anyway, since I have been gone, I have still been shopping, so I have a ton of new products to review. Enjoy and leave a comment/questions for me below.

Urban Decay Skull Shadow Box, lipsticks in Gash and Midnight Cowboy

This was, admittedly, my first Urban Decay makeup pallette and lipsticks. I heard so many great things about this brand, but I wasn't highly impressed. I found I got more pigment from my Wet N Wild palettes (especially Comfort Zone). But this pallette does have some cool colors that I don't have in my collection, and they are very pretty. On the other hand, the lipsticks are great! I ended up getting them for $3 each, and I fell in love with the packaging right away. I got Gash, which is a dark burgundy-ish red and Midnight Cowboy, which is a slightly shimmery nude. I love these because they are SO creamy and I don't even need to put a chapstick or anything underneath. They are very pigmented and very pretty. I forgot to take swatches of these, but if you google them, you'll find tons of swatches.

Skull Shadow Box: $12, Lipsticks: $3/each on sale @ urbandecay.com

TokiDoki Airways Palette

This was too adorable to pass up. A cute, tin "lunchbox" type packaging opens to reveal 8 beautiful eyeshadows. I've read alot of reviews that describe these shadows as powdery and chalky, but I found them to be beautifully pigmented and not chalky at all. Comes with a cute keychain named Donutella. Get it? LOL

Airways Palette: $15 on sale @ sephora.com

The Lippies:
- Rimmel Moisture Renew Cream Lip Gloss in 245 Berry Bliss
-Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 066 Heather Shimmer
-Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in 085 Sugar Plum
-Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in 030 Fig Jam
-Rimmel Mositure Renew Lipstick in 380 Vintage Pink

I just got the Revlon Lip Butters a couple days ago, but I am IN LOVE! I had been hearing so much about them on YouTube, so I finally gave in and jumped on the bandwagon. I love these colors so much! I got Fig Jam, which is a brown-y burgundy shimmery color. It's a gorgeous Fall color without being too vampy. It's great as a stain, but can easily be built up into a darker color.
Sugar Plum is a beautiful plummy-mauve color that is also great for Fall. I'm probably super obsessed (and always have been) with mauve lipsticks! These lip butters live up to their hype, with beautiful color like a lipstick and lots of moisture like a lip moisturizer and sheen like a gloss. Plus the packaging is super cute in a quilted pattern.

Revlon Lip Butters $6.48/each @ Wal-Mart

My favorite lipsticks currently are from Rimmel. I had one, but I wanted more, of course. I picked up Heather Shimmer, mainly because my name is Heather (pretty lame, huh?). But I ended up picking a great color - it's a pinky-brown color, pretty similar to Fig Jam, but it can be built up to be a darker, sexy color.
I also got Vintage Pink, which is not pink at all! I hate that the name is so misleading, but I checked online before I bought it, and read that it was more plummy-mauve than pink. And that's why I bought it, because I had been looking for a deep plum color and I LOVE it! So Vintage Pink is not pink at all, but a great color nonetheless.

Rimmel Lipsticks $4-5 @ Wal-Mart

Tarte Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio + Benefit Hoola Bronzer

This trio comes with the 360* creaseless 12-Hr Smoothing Eye Primer, the Poreless 12-Hr Perfecting Primer, and the Flawless 12-Hr Brightening Primer. I have already tried the Urban Decay Primer Potion and use the Elf Eyelid Primer religiously, so I wanted to try another YouTube favorite primer from Tarte. Honestly, they all work pretty much the same, which is a good thing. But I think for $1, I'll stick to the Elf brand. The full size Tarte Eye Primer is $19 for a .39 oz tube. It's a great primer and a great brand, but for $18 less, Elf wins. If you are dead set on trying these, get the trio, which is alot cheaper when you just want to test it out.

Tarte Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio $9 @ sephora.com

The Hoola bronzer by Benefit is another YouTube favorite. I'm pretty new to bronzers, but I heard many good things about this one. When I found it in a Benefit sample set with other things I wanted to try out, I knew I had to get it!

I love how pigmented it is, and how you don't need to use alot to get a good contour. This small sample is going to last me for awhile. I really like the color and the look it gives me, but I'm not sold 100% on the full size price, which retails at $28 for .28 oz package. Also, while I really do love this bronzer, I think it is breaking me out. I'm not too sure if this is the culprit yet, but I am only breaking out a little only where I happen to apply this bronzer (hollows of the cheeks and jawline). I hope it isn't the reason, because it's a great product.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer $28 @ sephora.com OR get the Tan About Town set for $12 @ sephora.com (which also includes a small Some Kind-A Gorgeous cream-powder face makeup and a small tube of Bad Gal Lash mascara.)

Tarte Picture Perfect Curler and Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes Set

I decided to try this out because I needed a new, improved eyelash curler that didn't pinch my lids or rip out my eyelashes! I decided to spend a little more on this set, and I believe it was totally worth it. This Tarte curler is so adorable with it's pink/purple handles, and it makes my lashes curl without the pain! I also think I found my Holy Grail Mascara in the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. It is absolutely remarkable how my lashes just pop! They look instantly long and volumous! I ordinarily use Maybelline mascaras, which are great mascaras, but my lashes look way sexier with this Tarte one. I have already decided to shell out the $19 for the full size mascara.

EcoTools The Everyday Collection

This adorable set comes with 5 brushes in a natural cotton and hemp little cosmetic brush holder. I have quite a few brushes, but I love EcoTools and couldn't resist this set. It comes with 5 brushes: Angled Blush Brush (which I plan on using with my Hoola Bronzer since it needs more blending in), an eyeshadow brush, an angled eyeliner brush (which I love, because my current favorite thing to do is line my eyes with a black shimmery eyeshadow instead of a liquid or pencil liner - stays all day even on the waterline!), a detailer brush, and a concealer brush. I love that these are all natural, earth-friendly, and soft on your face - not at all scratchy.

EcoTools The Everyday Collection $10.98 @ WalMart (pretty good deal, seeing as how I bought ONE foundation brush from EcoTools at Walmart for $10)

That's it! Leave any comments or questions below, and also let me know if you've tried any of these products and if you love them/unlike them as much as I do!
