Discounts! Discounts!Who doesn't LOVE discounts?? I know I absolutely love a good deal, especially on more expensive products that I've had my eye on for awhile. <div>Many people (including myself) scour the Internet for online coupon codes and look for coupon books at stores. My first favorite website for scoring discounts on goodies is retailmenot.com. This little site is so easy to use - all you have to do is type in the store you want, and a list of coupon codes and printable coupons pops up - and when they expire. You can automatically go to the website of the store you want from the coupon code page. Or if you are an old school couponer, you can print it out.</div><div>Other than sites like these, there are sites that offer more popular and expensive brands in a "flash sale" type of deal. My absolute favorite is Hautelook.com. It's actually a Nordstrom company, which I think says alot about their reputation. Hautelook offers new events everyday at 8am pacific time with clothing, shoes, home decor, technology, and more up to 75% off. Events (flash sales) all end at different days/times, but they are sure to let you know. Membership is FREE, and you can sign up for the email alerts that send you new events so you'll always be aware what is on Hautelook so you'll never miss that sale. They have many popular brand names such as Jessica Simpson, Rebecca Minkoff, Madden Girl, Elf Cosmetics, Tarte cosmetics and more!</div><div>I've bought from Hautelook many times, and I am NEVER disappointed! I bought a makeup brush set by Elf through Hautelook for $13, when they normally retail at $30. I bought a pair of Sperry Top-siders for $45 when they normally run $100+. More recently, I bought my first Rebecca Minkoff MAC clutch for $120 when they are $250+. I also am currently awaiting the arrival of my Whitening Lightning teeth whitening kit that I have heard SO many good things about! I had been wanting it for so long, but it regularly costs almost $500. I paid $60 for mine - and bought one for ma for Mothers Day. You can't beat that amazing discount! I always get my shipments on time and have never had any problems! </div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-0QEkCh3OAuI/UZA--BZNVaI/AAAAAAAAAxs/4uS-K_w8iOc/s640/blogger-image--2090193306.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-0QEkCh3OAuI/UZA--BZNVaI/AAAAAAAAAxs/4uS-K_w8iOc/s640/blogger-image--2090193306.jpg"></a></div> * <i>Sample email alert from Hautelook*</i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div>Another site kinda similar to Hautelook that I think more people have heard of is Groupon. Not only does Groupon offer great discounts on vacation getaways, romantic weekend getaways, and your favorite restaurant, they also offer discounts on products such as spa trips, hair products, fashion, technology, and more! Just like Hautelook, membership is free. All you gotta do is sign up like any other website, and you are emailed various discounts. Some discounts are basically a coupon code type number that you are emailed after purchase. For example, I bought a $15 Groupon for $115 off Nume hair tools. I received the promo code in my email inbox, then went to the Nume website, where I then purchased my Titan 3 curling wands for a huge discount! Other discounts are immediate. For example, I just ordered a phone charger docking station for $15 and all I had to do was approve the transaction - given that your information and credit card # are already on file. I haven't bought any of the vacations yet, but you can be sure I will in the future! </div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-52Be-NXfFbE/UZBHcNtFBLI/AAAAAAAAAx8/HXR6Boh6ZcM/s640/blogger-image--1783229556.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-52Be-NXfFbE/UZBHcNtFBLI/AAAAAAAAAx8/HXR6Boh6ZcM/s640/blogger-image--1783229556.jpg"></a></div></div><div><i> </i><i>*sample email alert from Groupon*</i></div><div>I urge you to try these websites out if you are an extreme shopaholic like me or even if you just want to save some money on a really great product. Have you tried these already? Or do you have other websites that you love? Let me know!</div><div><br></div><div>*these opinions are my own honest thoughts and experiences and I am not being paid to advertise*</div><div><i><br></i></div>Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09544791929793504944noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2816307521790640539.post-41788056976584199772013-05-01T18:16:00.002-07:002013-05-01T18:16:38.910-07:00April 2013 FavesSo I'm a little late with my April Favorites but I'm just getting back into blogging again regularly so forgive me! No need for more rambling...here they are:<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--8UUakiE5nM/UYGxL_kC8KI/AAAAAAAAAw4/k1VP6Qsi-AY/s640/blogger-image--1795632680.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--8UUakiE5nM/UYGxL_kC8KI/AAAAAAAAAw4/k1VP6Qsi-AY/s640/blogger-image--1795632680.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am obsessed with knuckle-rings - or midi-rings - whatever you want to call them. I think they are so adorable and something different from the typical everyday rings. I found mine at Walmart (actually, I cheated. They are toe rings! But they make perfect knuckle-rings and are super cheap for a set of 5!)</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-sCxKmRN6Ir8/UYGxNCKsUUI/AAAAAAAAAxA/1hNLjpRABmI/s640/blogger-image--2023405937.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-sCxKmRN6Ir8/UYGxNCKsUUI/AAAAAAAAAxA/1hNLjpRABmI/s640/blogger-image--2023405937.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next favorite is my new Nume Titan 3. I got a Groupon coupon for $110 off the retail price , so I ended up getting this sweet baby for about $90. It comes with 3 sizes of barrels so you can get various curl sizes. I read reviews and YouTube videos of people who raved about this, and I'm happy to report, it lives up to its claims! It is super easy to curl your hair (I use the heat protectant glove that comes with it because I'm accident-prone) - I honestly believe it's way easier than a regular curling iron. It took me LESS THAN 30 minutes to curl my entire head and I have long, thick hair. Usually half way through curling my hair with a curling iron, my arms are tired, I'm hot, and I'm just SO over curling my hair. That's definitely not the case with this one. I am IN LOVE with the NUME! Nume discount codes are floating all over the internet, so GO get you one!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-StJdJw6WU9Q/UYGxK4kakQI/AAAAAAAAAww/Tkgd_zpXSKQ/s640/blogger-image--1267884956.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-StJdJw6WU9Q/UYGxK4kakQI/AAAAAAAAAww/Tkgd_zpXSKQ/s640/blogger-image--1267884956.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my face this month, I have been using various products, but these 3 really stand out to me. First is the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in Fresh Beige. I love this because it evens out my skin tones, hides my redness, and it really is nearly naked - it isn't cakey or thick at all, but it does a good job at being a foundation. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am pretty self-conscious about my undereye area, so I always use a concealer. I have found a couple that are pretty good, but I had heard many great things about Hard Candy's Glamoflauge concealer. OMG, it is seriously heavy duty like the packaging says. You have to be really careful about blending it out and a tiny bit goes a LONG way. But it definitely makes me look like I've gotten 12 hours of restful sleep, which I never do! And it's $6 at Walmart, which you can't beat!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After these products, I like to set them with a powder. I have many brands of powders, which I rotate out with this one, but I have really been enjoying this one. It is very light, soaks up all the oil on my face, and makes my face look pretty matte for hours on end. Most of the face powders I have do not work this great, as I will have oil break-thru a couple hours later. Some people will not like the scent, but it reminds me of classic makeup-department-store-lady LOL. The scent does not stick though, so after applying, you don't smell anything at all. This container contains a HUGE amount of product for $5 at Walmart and they come in different shades and even a translucent version.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WiafLFvBY1s/UYGw_Zqxc_I/AAAAAAAAAwY/iPlguRDAhgs/s640/blogger-image-446394628.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WiafLFvBY1s/UYGw_Zqxc_I/AAAAAAAAAwY/iPlguRDAhgs/s640/blogger-image-446394628.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
My favorite part is definitely the EYES! I have been loving Maybelline's new The Rocket mascara. My HG mascara is actually Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes, and the results I get with The Rocket are very close to that. I am going to continue to see if I love it so maybe this $6 mascara will replace my $19 one!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the lids, I have been obsessed with copper colors. I found these two at Sally's (they are Sally brand) for super cheap and they are outstanding! The top is a regular eyeshadow that is a light coppery shade that I like to put in the crease over some gold shadow. The bottom is a baked eyeshadow that is super intense for a copper smokey-eye for nights out. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The last eye product is Hard Candy's Baked Eyeshadow Duo in Peace. The light half is a perfect shimmery champagne highlight color that I like to wear under the brow and in the inner corners of the eyes. You can even use it as a highlight for your cheeks! The brown half is a gorgeous shimmery brown that is super pigmented! I like to put this in the crease for drama.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mZCvF3USS5s/UYGxIrkBzWI/AAAAAAAAAwg/CRbLqLXwMRw/s640/blogger-image--1729536442.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mZCvF3USS5s/UYGxIrkBzWI/AAAAAAAAAwg/CRbLqLXwMRw/s640/blogger-image--1729536442.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
For lips, I have been obsessed with lip stains. I have 3 from Loreal and 1 from Maybelline (I need to go buy more!). I love these because the color has great pigment, is glossy, and lasts for hours. I wouldn't say 10hours, but long enough! Great alternatives to lipstick and lip gloss!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-m1RME_69P-E/UYGxJreIO3I/AAAAAAAAAwo/JMjZMOeCzPo/s640/blogger-image--1779361229.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-m1RME_69P-E/UYGxJreIO3I/AAAAAAAAAwo/JMjZMOeCzPo/s640/blogger-image--1779361229.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Victoria's Secret Pink Fresh & Clean body mist has been a favorite for years! This scent is fruity and amazing, but it isn't your typical fruity-smell. I can't describe smells to save my life, so if you are in a VS store, I suggest go test it out! This scent is the epitome of summer! Comes in a lotion and body wash too!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
This quote is pretty classic - isn't it what everyone's mom used to tell them? Also, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." Lol. Well, the reason for this unlikely un-beauty post is because I just watched this movie called CyberBully on Netflix. I believe it was an ABC Family original movie. It starred Emily Osment and Kay Panabaker. I won't go into details, because you seriously HAVE to see it for yourself! <br />
Basically a high school girl starts getting harassed on a Facebook-like site by her classmates which leads her to a failed suicide attempt and eventually getting the attention of state senators about cyberbullying. I literally sobbed through half the movie because, while I didn't get harassed like this in school, I did try to commit suicide sometime after high school. It hit close to home about feeling lost and hopeless and hated.<br />
I also was harassed online a couple years ago by a former best friend. She really hurt me and I stopped being friends with her which lead her to send me cruel emails - hitting me where it hurt most. I was angry, sad, and embarrassed. <br />
It sounds silly to be embarrassed but this girl knew my deepest secrets, exactly where to hurt me the hardest, and make me feel rotten about myself. I immediately deleted the emails because I couldn't stand to look at her name in my Inbox and recall all the harsh words. I changed my email address, deleted all my social media accounts, and basically tried to cut myself off from the rest of the world so she couldn't find me again.<br />
Still to this day, I'm afraid that she will happen to find my new email or site and start harassing me again. But after watching that movie tonight, I am prepared with knowledge if she should attack me again.<br />
Cyber bullying IS against the law. Punishment and laws vary by state, and some states have yet to implement laws against cyber bullies. To find out what the specific laws and punishments are for your state, just google: Cyber bullying laws in Texas, for example. You'll find all the information you need. <br />
And if you are ever bullied, save and print ALL evidence - emails, instant messages, texting, etc. Make sure you are knowledgable of the laws as well to determine what steps to take next. And also, TELL SOMEONE. Parents, teachers you trust, someone of high demeanor that can maybe help you.<br />
Sadly, most laws are geared toward minors in school and on school grounds. But this type of bullying isn't just being committed by kids. My ex-best friend bully was 26 and me, 25, at the time. It's even more sad that some adults act this way! But like I said, research your state's laws. <br />
My state is Texas, and there are laws against cyber bullying for minors in school but there is a penal code that states that the harassment law can be used to criminally penalize cyber bullies, so I take that as it being for all ages. <br />
Leave a comment on your opinions on this matter, whether you've seen the movie, or if you want to share your personal story. Thanks for reading, and I'll be back soon with a lighter happier entry :) <br />

I decided that I needed to keep up with this blog more, so that's one of my resolutions for the year. A lot of my favorite beauty bloggers and vloggers are revealing their favorites from 2012, and I thought it would be a fun way to kick off 2013 and end 2012.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-923tPbx9r3g/UOoklxHF-bI/AAAAAAAAAus/j9vb-gEsEJ8/s1600/036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-923tPbx9r3g/UOoklxHF-bI/AAAAAAAAAus/j9vb-gEsEJ8/s400/036.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My favorite eye products of the year were Wet N Wild Creme Eyeliner in Black, Milani Liquif'Eye eyeliner pencil, and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. This creme eyeliner was the first I had ever tried - I was a bit skeptical, but I loved it even more than a liquid eyeliner. It went on so easily on the top lash line, the color was extremely black, and it lasted for hours! I bought this online at drugstore.com, but I'm sure most Wal-Marts and other drugstores have them. The Milani Liquif'Eye was my water line's best friend this year. I spent so many years using a cheap black eye pencil and suffering through the pulls, tugs, and splinters! I had heard of this liner on many beauty vloggers YouTube videos, and I had to jump on the bandwagon. I was an instant fan of this extremely black liner that is easy to apply (almost easy as liquid!), and actually stays on my water line for hours. While I love this pencil, I didn't love the price ($8, Walgreens), and I may try cheaper variations this month, but if none of them stack up to this, it's worth the price! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My last, but certainly not least, favorite eye product the year was Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes. I had received a sample size (the small tube in the picture) with an eyelash curler set, and was excited to try it. The only mascaras I had ever used were Maybelline's Volume Express line, which I thought were pretty decent. I found that Tarte's mascara is a little dryer than other brands, but that happened to be a good thing! This mascara makes my lashes really POP, and I am constantly getting compliments on how long my lashes look - it makes your lashes look like faux lashes - in a good way!!!! Unfortunately, the full size of this mascara is $19. I had to go for it anyway because it is definitely my ulltimate favorite - and I'm still using the sample right now!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zlw_cEx4Vkk/UOokr1cjA4I/AAAAAAAAAu8/0BiHUgL-XEc/s1600/038.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zlw_cEx4Vkk/UOokr1cjA4I/AAAAAAAAAu8/0BiHUgL-XEc/s400/038.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Last year I tried a TON of lip products! It seemed like every time I went to Wal-Mart I ended up buying a new lip product. My favorites from the year were: Maybelline Baby Lips, Revlon Lip Butters in Fig Jam and Sugar Plum, and the combo of Rimmel's Stay Glossy gloss in 120 Non-Stop Glamour and Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss in 14.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have done a review of the Baby Lips before - they are extremely nourishing while adding just a tint of color - perfect for everyday. The Revlon Lip Butters are currently an obsession! I had been searching high and low for a great-looking plum lipstick and Sugar Plum is the one. I had my doubts about the brownish color called Fig Jam, but it ended up being very sexy and pretty for fall. I love that you do not need to wear a chapstick underneath nor a lip gloss on top - these Lip Butters are all that in one! I'm dying to try more this year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started to obsess over the nude lip last year. I loved the look with an intense smoky eye. I found the perfect combo in Rimmel's 120 Non-Stop Glamour over Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss in 14. the lipstick is a beautiful nude color, but a bit dry on it's own. My lips are always dry anyway, so it didn't look so hot. I added the shimmery nude lip gloss over it and perfection!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The makeup products that I have been loving for the face include Tarte's Clean Slate Poreless Perfecting Primer, Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser, and Elf's Eyelid Primer. I had tried other primers, but I didn't really like any of them except for Tarte's Poreless version - I wasn't even a fan of Tarte's Brightening version! This primer practically evaporates into the skin and feels like nothing is there - but it completely masks my pores and other little skin flaws with my foundation on top. It's not greasy and it doesn't leave your skin shiny or with a residue. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind is probably my favorite concealer that I used this year. It's easy to apply, covers great, and I like the packaging. While I do love this one, I may try other concealers by Revlon and Maybelline to compare.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Elf's Eyelid Primer is definitely my #1 eyelid primer. I also tried Urban Decay's Primer Potion, which was good, but I thought that Elf's version was just like it! My eye makeup lasts all day without smudging all over the place. I'd rather pay the $1 than the $20. Yes, I know UD's Primer Potion is legendary, but I'm on a budget! Besides, like I said, there's hardly a difference between them.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used a ton of different shadows last year, my ultimate favorite being Wet N Wild's Comfort Zone. This palette was a big hit among YouTube beauty vloggers, and rightfully so. Every color is beautifully pigmented and blends well. I was so in love with this that I bought an extra one for back up!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Another palette I used alot (mainly during the summer) was Elf's Essential Flawless Eyeshadow palette. It comes in a variety of tones, but I got the Golden Goddess one. It created the perfect summer eye look for $2! I forgot to take a picture of it, but I have done a post on it before, or you can look it up on eyeslipsface.com.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I discovered bronzer in 2012. Shoutout to one of my fav YouTube gurus Nicole Guerrero for getting me hooked on Benefit's Hoola Bronzer. I tried a couple other bronzers but none of them really gave me the contour I was looking for. I first got Hoola in a Benefit kit of deluxe samples, and when I found out how much I loved it, I wanted the full size immediately! Sadly, it's out of my budget, but I ended up buying a different Benefit kit and got another deluxe sample of Hoola. I'm still on the first sample, so I believe these will last me for awhile - there's quite a bit of product in these samples, and it doesn't take much as it's highly pigmented! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My favorite blush was Elf's Twinkle Pink. At first I hated this one. It's a light pink-coral color with lots of shimmer. When I dipped my brush into it, there was shimmer flying out all over the place. But I have grown to love this because the color is so pretty on the apples of the cheeks, and the shimmer actually comes off as a great highlight! I've been trying out highlighting products lately, and this blush makes it easy to get color/shimmer in one step.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y7EZVtitQ-g/UOokywJl-jI/AAAAAAAAAvM/KoOZg86KlCQ/s1600/040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y7EZVtitQ-g/UOokywJl-jI/AAAAAAAAAvM/KoOZg86KlCQ/s400/040.JPG" width="398" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I just have to say that I die for Elf brushes. That is all. Just kidding. These are my top 5 favorite brushes, although I have alot more favorites. I discovered I love to use dark eyeshadows on my lower lash line smudged out a bit, and the angled liner brush from EcoTools is perfect for doing that. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
While I discovered bronzer in 2012, I also discovered the perfect brush for applying it! It's an angled blush brush from EcoTools. I love the angle for applying bronzer because it fits right in the hollows of the cheeks, and it's fluffy enough that I can also buff out extra pigmentation if I apply too much.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Elf brushes in general are amazing, and at $3 each for the studio line, I urge you to try them. They are so soft and professional-feeling, with no shedding. My favs are the tapered blush brush for applying blush, the stipple brush for applying foundation, and the powder brush for powder. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CwvVThXjoHE/UOok76PK_7I/AAAAAAAAAvs/iSgBWGzX2a0/s1600/044.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CwvVThXjoHE/UOok76PK_7I/AAAAAAAAAvs/iSgBWGzX2a0/s320/044.JPG" width="319" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My most-used colors of the year had to be from the Wet N Wild Megalast line. I loved I Need a Refresh-Mint during the warmer months and Haze of Love during Fall. The thick brushes make it so easy to apply the perfect coats, they are fast-drying, and long-lasting!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LCoM7hlzSRY/UOokpQiMSrI/AAAAAAAAAu0/NDeWxfIAtOw/s1600/037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LCoM7hlzSRY/UOokpQiMSrI/AAAAAAAAAu0/NDeWxfIAtOw/s400/037.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So with all this makeup, a girl needs some good face products. I have literally been using Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser ALL year. I have had maybe 2 breakouts since I started using it, which is a huge improvement for me. My skin has stayed mostly clear, and I think I owe it to the fact that this is a milk cleanser, and not anything harsher like a scrub or something that suds up. In combination with the cleanser, when I breakout with a pimple, I immediately treat it with the Yes to Tomatos Acne Spot Stick. This has Salicylic Acid, among other natural ingredients, which works best for my acne. You have to be careful as some people can be allergic to Salicylic Acid. I dab the rollerball stick on my pimple, and it seems overnight it has gone down significantly. These products are a little bit expensive (I believe the cleanser was $9-$11 and the roller ball was $8), but when it comes to the health and look of my skin, it's definitely worth it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sometimes I get very dry skin, especially after a shower, so I like to moisturize with a timely favorite from Olay. It is light and non-greasy, it doesn't make me break out, and it has SPF in it, which is very important these days. My grandmother swore by this brand, and it's probably one of the best drugstore products that I trust.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dj38ySXFDIY/UOokvhYF6fI/AAAAAAAAAvE/jy5rMuuKA3Y/s1600/039.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dj38ySXFDIY/UOokvhYF6fI/AAAAAAAAAvE/jy5rMuuKA3Y/s400/039.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This favorite is a little funny. Through another YouTube guru, Leighann (leighannsays), I discovered this detangling spray from Suave KIDS. Haha, yes, from the Kids line. But it smells amazing (like green apple) and it works so good on my long, thick hair that is usually very tangly after a shower. I think it was like $2, and I dare you to try it!!!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My favorite scent from Bath & Body Works has been Winter Candy Apple since my freshman year of high school (I'm 26 now). It is a scent that only comes around during the holidays, and it is AWESOME. Sometime toward the end of October, I believe, I found that the scent was already back, and the store was having a Buy 3, Get 2 Free or something outrageous like that. I ended up stocking up on the lotion, spray, and shower gel, which have improved over the years. I love how the shower gel scent sticks to you long after your shower. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Other scents that I was loving earlier in the year (during warmer months) were Fancy by Jessica Simpson and Too Too Pretty by Betsey Johnson. I had a couple samples which I wanted to use up before getting the full size. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry for being a terribly long post, but I had lots of favorites for 2012. I don't like to do monthly favorites like most bloggers and vloggers do because honestly, a lot of these products that I posted today will probably be my favorites for awhile. I'd rather try new products and review them as we go along. What were your favorite things this year??? Leave a comment and definitely subscribe!!!</div>

It is such an overlooked makeup line that really has great quality. Everything from their blushes, mascara, and eyeshadows - I am addicted! <br />
<br />
I started out with the Petal Pusher palette, which is amazing, then I heard so many reviews about the Comfort Zone palette. Of course, I had to jump on that bandwagon pronto, and I'm glad I did! I am in love with this palette. All of the colors are so pigmented, and I don't have anything like them in my collection. A couple of months ago, I had a real fear that they might discontinue the palette just because anything I LOVE gets discontinued! So I ran out and bought a backup of it LOL.<br />
<br />
Moving on...a couple weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to try out the other palettes since I had such good luck with these two.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
While the colors in this Blue Had Me At Hello palette are so striking, they aren't AS pigmented as they look to be. I still am pretty happy with it though, because I find the lighter colors to be more pigmented and creamy than similar colors in an Urban Decay palette I have. My favorite is the silvery-blue eyelid color which is the 5th one from the left on the swatch pic and the 2nd one from the top on the left side on the palette pic. It's super velvet-y soft and you barely have to touch it to get highly pigmented color. I haven't done many looks with blues like these, but I'm definitely going to play around with these.</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These 3-color palettes are adorable! They look sort of similar, but they can create different looks. I have a Fall makeup look that I create with the cranberry color on the lid, the lighter brown in the crease, and the gold color in the inner corner. These palettes are so versatile and I think I'm going to have a great time creating more Fall looks!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Not a great picture detailing my Fall makeup look that I mentioned before, but hopefully you can see what I did. I love the cranberry color for Fall!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway, I tried to start a YouTube channel this weekend, but I just wasn't happy with the quality of the result, so I'm going to stick with blogging and pictures! Leave a comment, and Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!</div>

I know I have been gone for a quick minute, but I really need to get back in the swing of blogging. It's something I really love, to just bring girls reviews of all kinds of products. I am addicted to Youtube makeup reviews and tutorials, so I want to do my part for you guys. I am even thinking of maybe creating a Youtube channel like some of my favorite gurus. That's still undecided though.<br />
<br />
Anyway, since I have been gone, I have still been shopping, so I have a ton of new products to review. Enjoy and leave a comment/questions for me below.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This was, admittedly, my first Urban Decay makeup pallette and lipsticks. I heard so many great things about this brand, but I wasn't highly impressed. I found I got more pigment from my Wet N Wild palettes (especially Comfort Zone). But this pallette does have some cool colors that I don't have in my collection, and they are very pretty. On the other hand, the lipsticks are great! I ended up getting them for $3 each, and I fell in love with the packaging right away. I got Gash, which is a dark burgundy-ish red and Midnight Cowboy, which is a slightly shimmery nude. I love these because they are SO creamy and I don't even need to put a chapstick or anything underneath. They are very pigmented and very pretty. I forgot to take swatches of these, but if you google them, you'll find tons of swatches. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This was too adorable to pass up. A cute, tin "lunchbox" type packaging opens to reveal 8 beautiful eyeshadows. I've read alot of reviews that describe these shadows as powdery and chalky, but I found them to be beautifully pigmented and not chalky at all. Comes with a cute keychain named Donutella. Get it? <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I just got the Revlon Lip Butters a couple days ago, but I am IN LOVE! I had been hearing so much about them on YouTube, so I finally gave in and jumped on the bandwagon. I love these colors so much! I got Fig Jam, which is a brown-y burgundy shimmery color. It's a gorgeous Fall color without being too vampy. It's great as a stain, but can easily be built up into a darker color.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sugar Plum is a beautiful plummy-mauve color that is also great for Fall. I'm probably super obsessed (and always have been) with mauve lipsticks! These lip butters live up to their hype, with beautiful color like a lipstick and lots of moisture like a lip moisturizer and sheen like a gloss. Plus the packaging is super cute in a quilted pattern.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><span style="color: red;"></span></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black;">My favorite lipsticks currently are from Rimmel. I had one, but I wanted more, of course. I picked up Heather Shimmer, mainly because my name is Heather (pretty lame, huh?). But I ended up picking a great color - it's a pinky-brown color, pretty similar to Fig Jam, but it can be built up to be a darker, sexy color.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also got Vintage Pink, which is not pink at all! I hate that the name is so misleading, but I checked online before I bought it, and read that it was more plummy-mauve than pink. And that's why I bought it, because I had been looking for a deep plum color and I LOVE it! So Vintage Pink is not pink at all, but a great color nonetheless. </div>

<strong><u>Tarte Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio + Benefit Hoola Bronzer</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u></u></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This trio comes with the 360* creaseless 12-Hr Smoothing Eye Primer, the Poreless 12-Hr Perfecting Primer, and the Flawless 12-Hr Brightening Primer. I have already tried the Urban Decay Primer Potion and use the Elf Eyelid Primer religiously, so I wanted to try another YouTube favorite primer from Tarte. Honestly, they all work pretty much the same, which is a good thing. But I think for $1, I'll stick to the Elf brand. The full size Tarte Eye Primer is $19 for a .39 oz tube. It's a great primer and a great brand, but for $18 less, Elf wins. If you are dead set on trying these, get the trio, which is alot cheaper when you just want to test it out.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black;">The Hoola bronzer by Benefit is another YouTube favorite. I'm pretty new to bronzers, but I heard many good things about this one. When I found it in a Benefit sample set with other things I wanted to try out, I knew I had to get it! </span></div>

I love how pigmented it is, and how you don't need to use alot to get a good contour. This small sample is going to last me for awhile. I really like the color and the look it gives me, but I'm not sold 100% on the full size price, which retails at $28 for .28 oz package. Also, while I really do love this bronzer, I think it is breaking me out. I'm not too sure if this is the culprit yet, but I am only breaking out a little only where I happen to apply this bronzer (hollows of the cheeks and jawline). I hope it isn't the reason, because it's a great product.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u></u></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I decided to try this out because I needed a new, improved eyelash curler that didn't pinch my lids or rip out my eyelashes! I decided to spend a little more on this set, and I believe it was totally worth it. This Tarte curler is so adorable with it's pink/purple handles, and it makes my lashes curl without the pain! I also think I found my Holy Grail Mascara in the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. It is absolutely remarkable how my lashes just pop! They look instantly long and volumous! I ordinarily use Maybelline mascaras, which are great mascaras, but my lashes look way sexier with this Tarte one. I have already decided to shell out the $19 for the full size mascara.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This adorable set comes with 5 brushes in a natural cotton and hemp little cosmetic brush holder. I have quite a few brushes, but I love EcoTools and couldn't resist this set. It comes with 5 brushes: Angled Blush Brush (which I plan on using with my Hoola Bronzer since it needs more blending in), an eyeshadow brush, an angled eyeliner brush (which I love, because my current favorite thing to do is line my eyes with a black shimmery eyeshadow instead of a liquid or pencil liner - stays all day even on the waterline!), a detailer brush, and a concealer brush. I love that these are all natural, earth-friendly, and soft on your face - not at all scratchy.</div>

This is a simple gold/brown "smokey" eye that isn't too much for during the day (i.e, school, work, or even lunch and shopping) and is perfect for the night as well - especially if you have plans after work and don't have time to go home and re-do your face. I personally hate wasting time when all I want to do is go and relax with friends after a long day. If you use a great primer on your lids, you won't have any trouble keeping this look throughout the day/night. I started out with an eyelid primer from elf cosmetics, then brushed a gold shimmery shadow over my entire lid, then with my finger I rubbed some creamy brown shadow (from the Femme Couture Earthy trio available at Sallys) into the crease and outer eye area. You can add as much as you want, but since this was a work look, I didn't want to go overboard. I added a sparkly white to underneath my eyebrow and in the inner corners. I finished with a black liquid liner from elf, and Maybelline MegaPlush mascara. Again, you can thicken up the eyeliner line as much as you want for a more dramatic look. For work, I kept the lips simple with Maybelline Baby Lips in a clear color. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In today's post I will be doing some makeup product reviews! Yay! I love makeup product reviews - I am actually a tad obsessed with the ones on Youtube. My favorite gurus, as you may already know, are<em> leighannsays, hollyannaeree, and nguerriero19</em>. Holly actually reviewed one of the lipsticks I am going to review, which is why I decided to buy it, and I love love love it. If you have never seen any reviews, I highly recommend these three gurus as well as others, just search for makeup reviews on Youtube.</div>

I am starting with these three lip products. I found the first two at Wal-Mart and the last at Dollar Tree. You may be able to find the L.A. Colors brand at Wal-Marts and other drugstores in your area, but sadly, only Dollar Tree and Family Dollar carry L.A. Colors in my town. :-(</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This lipstick was recommended by Youtube guru, <em>alovetart</em>. I watched one of her videos where she reviewed a bunch of nude lipsticks, and this one really caught my eye. It is <strong>Lasting Finish by Kate Moss for Rimmel in #14</strong>. Odd that this line does not have actual names, just numbers. This is a smooth formula that goes on amazing and looks amazing. It's not extremely creamy and my lips tend to be on the dry side, so I like to put a coat of clear lip gloss on top. The best thing about this lipstick is the smell! OMG, it smells like cinnamon or some kind of holiday spice...I really like it, and it also tastes a little like the same holiday-ish sweet spice. I don't know, I'm just nuts, I guess. But it's a sweet smell and taste, whatever it is.The packaging is also a plus. Very professional and "high-end" in a sleek black tube. Like I said before, I found this at Wal-Mart for $4 and some change. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a great "my lips but better" color, great for everyday (work, school), and even with a night time look. I can't wait to try a really sultry smokey eye with this great nude. This photo is<strong> #14</strong> with a coat of clear gloss on top. This lipstick claims to have up to 8 hours of staying power, but I haven't worn it that much, so I can't comment on that.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my favorite lipstick right now, and what a shock, it's by my favorite drugstore brand, <strong>Maybelline</strong>! This lipstick was recommended by Youtube guru, hollyannaeree. (Side note: Go check out her videos, they are great! She gives great tutorials and reviews and has lots of giveaways!). I loved how this pink looked on her lips, and she has said that her lips are pretty pigmented naturally, as are mine, so I figured this would look the same on my lips. And I was right. This is such a pretty pink color. I was SO lucky because my Wal-Mart had ONE <strong>Perpetual Peony</strong> color left. And of course, I grabbed it! It was a little over $7, which I never spend on lipsticks. But it was definitely worth it, and I am needing to purchase a back-up tube just in case. I always have a fear that something I really really love is going to be discontinued! This lipstick is said to have up to 24 hours of staying power, which I definitely cannot comment on because I don't know WHO would wear their lipstick for 24 hours. On me, it has lasted about 4-5 hours, and that is just because I wipe it off before eating lunch. So it definitely could possibly last longer. This is one lipstick I can wear with or without a clear coat of gloss on top. It goes on very creamy and smooth! Worth the price, but I wish it were a little less pricey. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Like I said before, I got this lip gloss at Dollar Tree. I am almost 100% sure it is in the color Romance ( I threw the packaging away immediately and it doesn't have the color on the tube). This is a pretty mauve-y color that looks so pretty. It says it has moisturizing Vitamin E and Aloe Vera, so that's a nice benefit. It is not a greasy, oily formula, nor is it sticky and gross. It probably falls somewhere between that, which is perfect, because it stays on your lips, but won't glue your lips together LOL. I like this gloss for the price, which was $1. </div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The next three are a few items that I already posted on, but didn't give too much of a review on. So here it is. From left to right: <strong>Wet N Wild lipstick in 903C</strong>, <strong>Wet N Wild Megashield lipcolor with SPF 15 in Within These Adobe</strong> <strong>Walls</strong>, and <strong>Rimmel Stay Glossy lip gloss in Fuschia Fever</strong>. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
While these three colors are very pretty, I did not like the first one. <strong>Wet N Wild lipstick in 903C</strong> is not a creamy or smooth formula at all( I have yet to try other colors in this line, so I don't know if the entire line is like this). It is very drying and shows all the lines in my lips. I already have very dry lips, so this did not help. Also putting gloss on top seemed to make it worse. It does not go on opaque ( I have very pigmented lips naturally, and it looked terrible!); color in places and none in others, very spotty. I want to say that maybe it would work better on someone with less pigmented lips - I am going to keep this in my artist kit to use on other people and I'll see how it works on them. Overall, very disappointed because I love <strong>Wet N Wild</strong>, but I only spent about $2 on this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong>Wet N Wild</strong> really restored my faith in them with the next one: <strong>Megashield with SPF 15 in Within These Adobe Walls</strong>. It's a similar color (as you can tell in the swatches) to 903C, but it is so much better! It goes on smooth and creamy, and is pretty shiny. I am planning on trying out more lipsticks from this "Megashield" line. I believe these are $2 as well.</div>

I am loving <strong>Rimmel</strong> lip products lately! I thought this bright fuschia pink was going to be too much for me, but it is a very pretty color. Very sultry and sexy, not very school/work appropriate. This goes on extremely smooth with a very cool flat lip applicator (something I have not seen before in a gloss applicator). I like to put this on liberally for a night out, and for other days, dab a little on my lips and rub in with a finger for a bright lip stain look. My Wal-Mart was not stocked very well on these, but I am still wanting to try other colors in this line. These are $3 and some change.</div>

The last lip product is from <strong>Elf</strong>. You can get <strong>Elf</strong> online at eyeslipsface.com or at Target stores. This gloss came with a huge online purchase I made last month. It is the <strong>Elf Glitter Gloss in Bronze Bling</strong>. This is a very pretty going-out color, and it's not too overpowering or crazy. I have to admit that "glitter" scares me a little, but the glitter in this gloss is not overwhelming at all, and I cannot feel any gritty gross-ness on my lips. The gloss is not too sticky, and it isn't oily or greasy either. It's the perfect medium that will stick to your lips. I've gotta say, I love the packaging as well. Looks very simple and sleek. I paid about $3 for this.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
**I recommend looking up other swatches on Google, because the swatches on the company websites are usually not true to color. You can find alot of swatches and reviews of any product you are looking to purchase!**</div>

Moving on to face products. Here are a few products that I have been using this month.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u>CoverGirl CGSmoothers BB Cream</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u></u></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-L7MmtVKgLFw/UD1fyjhgyYI/AAAAAAAAAoo/O4witQvDQEM/s1600/257.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-L7MmtVKgLFw/UD1fyjhgyYI/AAAAAAAAAoo/O4witQvDQEM/s320/257.JPG" width="170" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had heard many good things about BB creams, so I knew I had to try one. I didn't want to spend a fortune, so I figured I would start with the inexpensive Cover Girl CGSmoothers BB cream in light to medium. I can't remember how much this was at Target. Less than $6, I'm sure. I have actually been using this longer than a month, and I'm happy with it. Right now, I have pretty clear skin, and while it is a sheer coverage, I don't feel completely naked. It is extremely moisturizing, and I believe it adds some glow to my complexion. I think this tube has 1.3 ounces, and I don't use a ton on my face, so it's lasting a pretty long time. But I think I will probably repurchase this, or maybe try out the Garnier version depending on how much money I feel like spending at the time. While this does not say oil-free on the tube, I do not get any extra unwanted oil from this product, so that makes me happy, too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u>Maybelline Shine Free Pressed Powder</u></strong> </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This claims to have matte finish and oil control. I love Maybelline, and I truly believe that it lives up to what it's supposed to do. I think it's pretty cool that it actually has oil-blotting ingredients to keep your face oil-free. I find it does keep me oil-free and matte for 5-6 hours, which is pretty good in my opinion. It comes with a powder pad thing, but I like to use a powder brush. I want to say this was at Wal-Mart for less than $5.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This blush was also a recommendation from Youtube guru, hollyannaeree. She has mentioned it quite a bit, so I had to try it myself. And for $2, why not? It is a very gorgeous pink, and is surprisingly highly pigmented! This is great, but you have to be very careful to blend it out because it's easy to put too much of this on and look like a baby doll or clown LOL. Of course, the brush isn't the greatest - somewhat hard and stiff (which doesn't make it easy to blend), but that's expected with most products, so I use a softer blush brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u>Palladio Rice Powder Oil-Absorbing Blotting Tissues</u></strong></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was never really into blotting papers - I actually didn't really believe the "oil-absorbing" quality about them. I read alot of great reviews about this particular product, and decided I would try it. I got them at Sally's for $2-$3 with my Sally Beauty Club card. I love these! I don't get a ton of oil (mainly my nose and a little between my eyebrows), and blotting with these makes me look as if I refreshed my powder makeup. It's faster and much easier to use these than taking my compact and a brush in my purse everywhere - especially since it's so easy to break makeup and compacts in a big purse filled with junk LOL. I also like the fact that since I don't have to constantly reapply powder from my compact, I'm not adding alot of my facial oil back into it. These papers are amazing! Maybe the one con is that the papers are a little large, but I tear them in half (which makes them last longer, too). Be careful with these papers though, especially if you have to tear them, because you can get the powder on your clothes, but it's not a big deal at all. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have never used any kind of primer before, but the world of Youtube made me curious! I know a lot of people use the Tarte brand or other expensive brand. I actually got this tube in an eyeshadow palette from Elf, and I was happy to try it out! It is also sold individually for $3 on eyeslipsface.com. I have not tried any other primer, so I honestly do not know how this stacks up against them. But I do know that I like this product a lot, and I will be repurchasing!!! A little goes a long way, which is great. It has an applicator similar to a lip gloss, which makes for easy application. I dab a bit on each lid, then rub it in all the way up to under the brow and under my eye along the lash line. It helps my eye makeup last more than 8 hours (and that's while I'm running around at work all day) and keeps my eye makeup looking exactly the way it does after I apply it in the morning. I highly recommend this product. While I will be repurchasing, I think I will probably try the Tarte brand as well, just to see if it's any better.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have been using this mini-palette for over a month. It's been the only palette I have been using on my eyes this summer. I love that this little kit is all I need to create great gold summery look that has been great for work. Used with the primer above, this lasts all day long. As I said before, this is the Flawless Eyeshadow palette in Golden Goddess, but it has other colors as well. You can get this on eyeslipsface.com for $2!!! I believe you can probably find it at Target, too. Here's the look I create with this palette.</div>

Unfortunately, I am still not settled into my new job, but I'm hoping for this week. With that said, I still have not been on any extravagant makeup shopping trips lately, and will not for at least a few more weeks. I did stop into Dollar Tree to pick up some odds and ends, and of course, I had to browse the makeup aisle. You wouldn't think I'd have found anything, which I wasn't expecting to, but I did.</div>
<div align="center">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Excuse the extreme brightness of my iPhone's flash. I picked up 3 products by the brand L.A. Colors, and I guess I've been living under a rock, because I had only seen nail polish by this brand (which I'm a huge fan of). Sadly, my little town had the teeniest collection of makeup by this brand, but I made sure to pick up a few things to try out. I got 2 of the loose eyeshadow pigments in Lollipop and Sunshine, and an All-In-One stick meant for eyes, lips, and cheeks, in the color Pink Satin. I knew I had to pick one of these up because it's a jumbo crayon like the lip balm stains that are out now. I have been wanting something like this in my collection, but I wasn't about to pay $8 for one Revlon balm, especially when I didn't know if I'd like it or not. So for $1, I picked this L.A. Colors version up, and I love it so far. It's literally a pink satin color, very creamy and pretty. I wore this for most of the morning (before lunch), and it stayed on and didn't dry out my lips! Unfortunately, this was the only color my store carried, so I am really confused as where to buy this brand. I have not seen it at my town's Wal-Mart. I looked up the website, but I'm not sure you can purchase on there.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This loose eyeshadow product amazed me. Pardon me if I'm a little late, but I haven't seen anything like this. I expected just a little pot of loose shimmery pigment, but was very surprised that it came with a cute little brush, and a little pot that prevents messes (because I'm very messy, let me tell ya). I brushed this pink pigment across my eyes and it gave me a very pretty pop of pink. If you rub it in a little with your fingers, it remains a shimmery look with a little tint of pink. Either way, these can create some great looks. I cannot wait to try it with some eyeshadow primer underneath to create an exaggerated going-out statement look. At $1 each, I'm in love already with the quality, but a couple of more things made me love this brand even more.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is printed on every product packaging. Not only is the bunny simply adorable, but it's fantastic to know that these products are not tested on animals. How awesome is that??? The last thing is the company itself. I was so happy that I found such amazing products for so little money, that I had to drop an email to L.A. Colors. I didn't expect anything back, but I got a thank you email for my support. I truly feel like this company has their consumers in mind at all times. So lastly, thanks to L.A. Colors for coming up with inexpensive, great quality products, and being so customer-oriented.</div>

I am currently in the midst of changing jobs, so I'm not going to have very many hauls for awhile. But in good news, I will be making up for it once I'm situated at my new job. And for now, we have the small haul. Just a few things that I've been wanting to try and I've heard good reviews on.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NLH9aLe3a64/UCLbwDGfpFI/AAAAAAAAAkU/6ZuK5_9ZFCc/s1600/015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NLH9aLe3a64/UCLbwDGfpFI/AAAAAAAAAkU/6ZuK5_9ZFCc/s400/015.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This tiny haul I got a couple of days ago. I got <strong>Maybelline Shine Free Matte Finish pressed powder</strong> in natural beige. I've been looking for something that really absorbs oil and shine during the day. Of course, I live in Texas, which means, I will be oily and shiny at some point during the day, but I'm hoping this helps a lot anyway. I've heard really good reviews about this product and the Maybelline Shine Free loose powder as well. I didn't get the loose powder because I heard about it being messy...and I tend to be pretty messy anyway. I figured the pressed powder was the way to go. This was $4.79 at Wal-Mart, which was surprising because I expected it to be in the $6-$7 range. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am trying out a new lip color as well from <strong>Wet N Wild</strong>, called....well, I ripped the packaging off, so all I see is 903C lol. It's a pretty pinky peach color, and I don't usually wear any lip color other than plums or mauves, so I wanted to try a pink without spending a lot. I believe this was around $2. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also got the <strong>Palladio rice paper oil-absorbing blotting tissues</strong> <strong>with rice powder</strong> in translucent- I know they also sell the regular blotting tissues without the rice powder. I found some good reviews on this particular product at sallybeauty.com, saying that they absorb oil for hours on end, so I had to try them out. I got them in store for 2.99 with my Sally's card. I have only used these once, and I have to say I love them so far. They really absorb the oil and give a nice matte finish, as if I retouched with actual powder makeup. I am not sure how the ones without rice powder fair, so if anyone has tried those, let me know! I do know that they come in different skintones like makeup, such as translucent, natural beige, etc. I have heard many good things about the Palladio makeup line from one of my favorite You Tube gurus,<em> Holly Ann-Aeree</em>. So when I do get to splurge again on makeup, I'll be going back to Sally's to try more.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The last things from Sally's that I got were these two mini<strong> baked eyeshadows</strong>. I have been wanting to try baked makeup for awhile, and have heard good things about them from You Tube, but I didn't want to spend too much without being completely sure. I spent 94 cents each on these, which is pretty good for the amount of product. I haven't tried these a whole lot, just swatched them on my hand, then put a little of the blue-green turquoise color on the outer-V of my eyelids. So far, they are pretty good! The turquoise is a little bit sheerer, but it's fine because I don't wear a lot of bright colors and this is perfect to start out with. The silver swatches pretty pigmented, and I'm excited to try it out. I have also heard you can use baked products wet for a more pigmented look, so I'll have to try that out as well. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Oh! And I forgot to include these babies on my<strong> e.l.f. haul</strong>! I got them on my 2nd order, and I'm loving the distinction in colors between these palettes. The palettes I got were Pretty Picnic, Happy Hour, and Night on the Town. They come with 10 eyeshadows, 2 lip colors, and either a blush or bronzer. What's cool about these is that you can buy separate little mirrored cases for them and take one or two on the go. I'm guessing that's why they are called Beauty-On-The-Go, right? Well, yeah, that's just a heads up that the pallettes are<u> SOLD SEPARATELY</u> from the cases, so make sure when you buy them, you don't forget the cases to put them in. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And lastly, I thought I would just throw in these heels I just got from Charlotte Russe. Most of the heels I own are from Charlotte Russe, and I've never had issues with any of them (i.e, broken, falling apart, etc). I got these Butterfly-Side Wooden heels in Coral and of course since they had a buy 1, get 1 for $12, I had to get a black pair, too. I can't wait to wear these, and I will be wearing them into the fall...because I can. lol. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Until next time....</div>

I have become addicted to e.l.f. cosmetics since I started watching youtube videos. So inexpensive, but good quality makeup. Everything is under $5 except for some of the sets and palettes which run $10-$30. I love it! I recently received my purchases in the mail, so I am here to show you my haul!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RfyRYQCZ-6c/UBhwkqVosTI/AAAAAAAAAiY/a4uq-wy_j1w/s1600/030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RfyRYQCZ-6c/UBhwkqVosTI/AAAAAAAAAiY/a4uq-wy_j1w/s400/030.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UL-j_ob3sxs/UBhw_zc6hfI/AAAAAAAAAio/Pb0H0GFvFwM/s1600/031.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UL-j_ob3sxs/UBhw_zc6hfI/AAAAAAAAAio/Pb0H0GFvFwM/s400/031.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is the 100 Eyeshadow Palette! I got it free with a $30 purchase, which is still available for $10, I believe. I don't have much eyeshadow, so this was a great gift for myself. It comes with neutrals, brights, and smoky colors. I can't wait to use these!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zmYbYa5Pl3I/UBhxDg1mmMI/AAAAAAAAAiw/odTjvSJJqkk/s1600/032.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zmYbYa5Pl3I/UBhxDg1mmMI/AAAAAAAAAiw/odTjvSJJqkk/s400/032.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This cute little book is the Neutral Beauty Book. There's also a smoky version, too. I like these because they are shimmery neutrals, which are my favorite. This book also contains a tube of eyelid primer, an eyeliner, and applicator. I'm glad it came with an eyelid primer because I wanted to try it out! I've heard many good things about eyelid primers. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xYSmtMkYkig/UBhxJEfDj4I/AAAAAAAAAjA/P88YM33t94c/s1600/036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xYSmtMkYkig/UBhxJEfDj4I/AAAAAAAAAjA/P88YM33t94c/s400/036.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hJD5uSRHgnI/UBhxLiygY9I/AAAAAAAAAjI/bmaRWbQoZKs/s1600/040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hJD5uSRHgnI/UBhxLiygY9I/AAAAAAAAAjI/bmaRWbQoZKs/s400/040.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wanted to try a few of the lip products that they sell. I got a matte color in tea rose (which is the middle swatch on my hand), a lip stain in nude nectar (bottom swatch), and glitter gloss in bronze bling (top swatch). They are all very different in color from each other, but they are all different on the lips, too. I haven't tried them enough to be certain if I like them or not, but I'm sure they'll be great.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GN_pwZGC8b0/UBhxOX1_zTI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/0ZunwmoOsG4/s1600/041.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GN_pwZGC8b0/UBhxOX1_zTI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/0ZunwmoOsG4/s400/041.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I got another small eyeshadow palette in Golden Goddess because I'm obsessed with these shimmery neutral-gold colors, especially for the summer! And I swear, you will go crazy buying things on that website, the prices are amazing. I also got an All Over Color Stick in pink lemonade (upper right). I tried a little on my cheeks, and I love the pinkyness it adds. I have tried only one other tinted moisturizer (from Cover Girl), and I like it, but I wanted to check out a less pricey version to see if I could save a few bucks! (tinted moisturizer, lower right). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hkNk2NtoKp8/UBhxRE0LN0I/AAAAAAAAAjY/Mt9-3AheLIw/s1600/042.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hkNk2NtoKp8/UBhxRE0LN0I/AAAAAAAAAjY/Mt9-3AheLIw/s400/042.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I desperately needed some new brushes, and at $1 each, I couldn't resist! I got a couple of eye brushes (1st and 3rd), a powder brush (2nd), and a fan brush (last). I can't wait to use these!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also got a couple of liquid eyeliners and some false lashes to try out. I am absolutely addicted to this brand thanks to some youtube gurus - leighannsays and nguerriero19. Check them out for some great product reviews and cool makeup tutorials - they are so funny and cute, too!</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4-7zsUooZCM/UBBss4l3QUI/AAAAAAAAAhw/cvC_RZoTlP4/s1600/255.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="297" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4-7zsUooZCM/UBBss4l3QUI/AAAAAAAAAhw/cvC_RZoTlP4/s400/255.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
So the other day I totally went semi-crazy at Wal-Mart and bought a few necessary items. LOL. Yes, most of what I buy I consider "necessary." Anyway I was in desperate need of a few new items so I could toss out some old makeup. I also grabbed a box of hair color because my hair has been "Rihanna-red" for a month and a half, and I kinda wanted something darker. So here it is with mini-reviews.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
<strong>The Haul:</strong></div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>1. Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme in Black Cherry (Deep Burgundy</strong>). Honestly, I don't dye my hair enough to know the difference between any of them. They all stink and they all color my hair relatively well. I love this color though, and since my hair was already a bright red, the color came out like the color on the box. I'll post some instagram pics on another day to show you my new color.</div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>2. Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Correcting Powder in Creamy Natural.</strong> OMG...I really have not had much experience with correcting powders or setting powders, but this totally worked for me. I thought the color might be too light for my skin tone, but it was perfect and my skin looked amazing. My makeup also stayed put longer than it usually does. It's a little bit pricey at $12-$13, but I love this brand and it'll last me a good while. It comes with an adorable little brush, which I wish I took a picture of, but I can do that another day for a makeup tutorial.</div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>3. Maybelline the Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara in Blackest Black</strong>. I never have anything bad to say about Maybelline mascaras, they are my absolute favorite. I usually use the yellow one (the Colossal Volum' Express) which I rave about, but I decided to try this one because I've heard so many good things about it from youtube gurus. I see no difference honestly between the two, so it's definitely a good mascara. </div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>4. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in Medium</strong>. I. LOVE. THIS. So much. I recently started wearing concealer (maybe sometime in November 2011) due to a very good friend's advice. I tried out a few, but this is by far the best one I have ever used. The application is easy, it blends in easy, and totally makes my eyes look so much better. I also dab a bit around my nose (where I tend to have a little redness) and on any unwelcome face friends that happen to pop up and it works wonders, tbh. And the little stick is so cute, and I love the round sponge, very soft for around the eye area. </div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>5. Ecotools Bamboo Foundation brush.</strong> Honestly, this is the very first "foundation" brush that I have ever used/owned. I was getting tired of using my fingers to blend in concealer, so I picked this little cutie up. It was a tad pricey, but I think all good brushes are. Yes, I do use it to blend my concealer in around my eyes, since I do not use foundation. It works amazingly. The bristles are so soft which I love because my eye area tends to be sensitive especially if I'm rubbing them alot.</div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>6. CLIF bar in white chocolate macadamia nut</strong>. I decided to try this healthy little snack because: 1. it was 98 cents, and 2. I've heard great reviews about CLIF bars. I hate to say that I was very disappointed. Maybe it was just this particular flavor, but it was not tasty at all. Really, that's all there is to say about that.</div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<strong>7. Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched (blue), Grape Vine (teal), and Pink Punch (pink).</strong> I'm obsessed with these! My lips tend to become very dry quite often, and I have never had any luck with chapsticks. These stay on a pretty good while, keep my lips very soft, and smell so good! I love the Pink Punch, which adds a tint of pink while nourishing lips. I like to use this for my natural, everyday makeup routine. Grape Vine is amazing, and adds a plum tint with lots of shine. I like to use this for a more "going out" makeup look. And Quenched is a wonderful, clear balm that I use when I'm just around the house or at work (no makeup) to keep my lips feeling great. I believe there are 5 total Baby Lips, and I might just have to add the other two.</div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gOANilDXjJg/UBB5iUyYVGI/AAAAAAAAAh8/6D3m47H4AyQ/s1600/016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gOANilDXjJg/UBB5iUyYVGI/AAAAAAAAAh8/6D3m47H4AyQ/s400/016.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A couple of other things I picked up on a different day.</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<strong>1. Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein in Chocolate</strong>. I love to make smoothies with a little of this powder mixed in. It gives me the protein I need since I do not eat alot of meat. This stuff is amazing for me and helps me keep my weight in check! Also, it tones me up pretty easy, too. Don't let the name scare you, it won't bulk you up to be like a body builder or anything, but it does give me energy to work out and helps me burn fat more easily. I like having a smoothie for breakfast or one when I feel a sweet craving coming on (mix it with crushed ice and 2% milk in a blender and it is just like a milkshake, but healthier!).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<strong>2. Luna Nutz Over Chocolate protein bar.</strong> I really liked this protein bar over the CLIF bar for sure. This bar is marketed specifically towards women, with calcium, folic acid, antioxidants A, C, and E, and 9 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber. I couldn't ask for anything more out of a "snack" bar. Clearly I'm obsessed with protein, but I love how it has all the other stuff in it. Very healthy and helpful things for the body. Tastes pretty good too. Now I'll have to try all the other flavors. :)</div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ok, well, that is it for the Wal-Mart Haul. I hoped I helped a little bit with the mini-reviews of these products, and hopefully you feel better about giving them a try, too. If you have any questions/comments, don't hesitate to contact me! </div>

I have been away from my blog for awhile, but I decided to start back up since I have a little more time on my hands! I have seen alot of 'Haul' posts and videos, and I decided to do a couple since I have been shopping like CRAY lately.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-X_TkIpCOQAU/UARW5mplOzI/AAAAAAAAAhg/2gim328C06g/s1600/257.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="297" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-X_TkIpCOQAU/UARW5mplOzI/AAAAAAAAAhg/2gim328C06g/s400/257.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><u>THE HAUL:</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1.<strong> The Bandini by Beyond Bare</strong>. I love these kinds of bras because they are so comfy and supportive of my...er, ladies. These are so cool because the straps can be worn up like a regular bra, down like a strapless, and one up and one down for one-strap tops. And the colors are AH-MAZING!!!! I'm really into neons right now, so they were perfect. They only had the neon-green (yellow? lime?) and purple in my size (comes in a 2-pack), but I noticed they had other bright colors. I shall be searching the internet for these!!! I believe they were $16/2 pack. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2. <strong>Cross-body bag by Mossimo</strong>. I honestly did not need another bag, but I could not resist the $7 price tag! It immediately caught my eye because of the reddish-pink color, the studs, and tassels. I am the ultimate boho-trend fanatic. Besides, I mostly have huge bags and totes, and this little one is perfect for the essentials: lip balm, phone, debit card, keys. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3. <strong>Dove dry shampoo</strong>. So I've been searching high and low for a good dry shampoo that won't cost me an arm and a leg and that actually works!!! I need it especially now because I dyed my hair a reddish-magenta color and I cannot wash my hair everyday or the color will run. Tresemme dry shampoo was HORRIBLE and I've read alot of reviews and blogs that share my feelings. I tried Suave, which was amazing, but the stuff would evaporate in the bottle after ONE use. After my 3rd bottle like this, I gave up. Then I saw Dove! I love Dove! So I tried it, and it was also amazing - but it evaporated AGAIN. And I know this is happening to many many other people, but it pisses me off. $4 down the drain after ONE use. So yeah, baby powder, it is.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. <strong>Limited Edition sandals.</strong> These were my first capture of the day... I saw them immediately upon walking into Target. I love this style ( I have many sandals in this style), the colors, and the price! Can't beat $11. Well, I'm sure you can, but they still made me happy.</div>
<br />
5. <strong>Yes To Tomatoes acne rollerball spot stick</strong>. I have been using this thing for about a year now. I loved the reviews and the ingredients, so I had to try it, especially because I was breaking out like a mofo. I was very surprised at how quickly this stick gets to zits - it really made my pimples less red and huge overnight. After a few days, they were gone. This is totally my miracle tool and it's only $8.<br />
<br />
6. <strong>Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail color in Coral Reef</strong>. I'm a nail-polish-aholic lately, and every time I go anywhere, I must buy at least one nail polish. This light, fruity, bright pink caught my eye, and we've been BFFs ever since. The color matches great with my new sandals, too. And honestly, Sally Hansen nail color is one of the best brands - creamy and goes on beautifully in one to two coats. Lasts a good while, too!<br />
<br />
7. <strong>Cover Girl CGsmoothers BB cream tinted moisturizer/SPF 15 in light to medium</strong>. I was extremely skeptical of BB cream when I first heard of them, but when my foundation started to look cakey and gross in this Texas heat, I thought it might be worth a try. So far, no complaints, blends in with my concealer fairly well, great coverage, and doesn't dry out my skin. I've heard of many people saying that BB creams break them out, so we'll see what happens. I need to do a makeup tutorial/review soon.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
So yeah, that was my Target haul this time around! Funny to think that I just went in there to get my acne rollerball stick and some dry shampoo. But Target always does that to me...can't leave without spending at least $50 each time. And I actually held back a little, so I can go pretty crazy in Target if I'm not careful...or watched at all times! Thanks for stopping by! </div>
